Anyone else?

In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos, but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

One of the greatest feats that Marvel has pulled with its movie universe is that it has made me like the character of Thor. From what I saw in the comics, Thor always seemed too high, mighty, pompous and fop-looking for me to get into, but Chris Hemsworth’s take on the character is not only badass, but also really fun. Thor: The Dark World looks really damn good, in my opinion, and with both Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston reprising their roles, I’d say that this could well be on track to being one of the best movies of Marvel’s Phase 2.

Thor: The Dark World comes out November 8, 2013.
