Before They Were Stars: 17-Year Old Adam Savage Nearly Drowns in a Billy Joel Video

Appropriately enough, I learned about this one from a recent photoplasty at Cracked.com. In 1985, when he was only 17 years old, MythBusters host Adam Savage made an appearance in the music video for the hit Billy Joel song, “You’re Only Human (Second Wind)”. You can see him drowning at the 2:05 mark before he is rescued by a muscular lifeguard.
