Framed for a crime he didn’t commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction. Well, this trailer has officially made me eat my words. A while back, I posted about the upcoming Need for Speed movie and how the only thing that interested me about it is Aaron Paul, but now that the first preview has dropped, I may have to revise my statement. Need for Speed has an awesome trailer! It’s slick, gritty and badass, and basically looks like a mashup of Drive and The Fast and the Furious. Now, video game adaptations don’t exactly have the best track records, so I’m not holding my breath, but this is already way more than I expected from this movie.
Need for Speed comes out March 14, 2014.
