I’m not one to get bent out of shape about the question of where the Avengers were in Iron Man 3 (Tony Stark is a loner, is he not?), but I know that some people were annoyed by the lack of other team members in that film, so it’s nice to see someone ask the question of where the Avengers have been. That someone is Jane Foster in Thor: The Dark World, and even though it seems like this will just be a flippant little one-off thing to appease the fans, I’m glad that Marvel is at least putting some effort into addressing it. Regardless, Thor: The Dark World continues to look surprisingly badass. I can’t believe that I’m looking forward to a Thor movie. Well done, Marvel. Well done indeed.
