As you probably know, shortly after the Academy Award nominations are announced, it’s a tradition here at The Back Row for me to do “Before They Were Stars” features on as many of the nominees as possible. Bradley Cooper has just received his second straight Oscar nomination for his performance in American Hustle and has obviously come a long way from being in the studio audience for Inside the Actors Studio. I always find it fascinating when famous actors have early film roles which get left on the cutting room floor, and some of them even suffer the indignity of attending the premiere without even knowing that their entire performance was excised. One of Bradley Cooper’s earliest jobs was a bit part acting alongside Ben Affleck in Changing Lanes, but unfortunately, his entire role was soon relegated to the deleted scenes section of the DVD release.
