I can’t believe the day has finally come. Sin City 2 finally has a trailer. It only took them nine years to make a sequel to the badass, hard boiled 2005 collaboration between Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, and only two cast members died in the interim, but here it is. At long last. Evidence that this movie exists. It looks exactly like the original Sin City in terms of style, and aside from some recasting, everything appears to be in the same fine form. Why the heck did this take so long to come to fruition? Anyway, I’ve been anticipating this movie for almost a decade, so of course I’m looking forward to it. I just hope Miller and Rodriguez haven’t lost their touch since their last collaboration.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes out, at long last, on August 22, 2014.
