Is the future truly set?

I’m going to come clean here: I haven’t watched this trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past yet because I’m at work, but I already know that I’m probably going to enjoy it. This new X-Men film is clearly Sony trying to cash in on the popularity of The Avengers by doing their own giant crossover movie (and they’re going to try it again with Spider-Man and the Sinister Six), but although it’s clearly something of a money grab, I’m really intrigued to see how Days of Future Past shapes up. X-Men was one of the franchises that essentially launched the reinvigorated interest in superhero movies (Blade was the other one) after the disastrous Batman & Robin, and it’s funny to think that now, 14 years later, we’re getting every iteration of the X-Men characters combined into one film that’s being helmed by the guy who started it all: Bryan Singer. So wild. Anyway, I have confidence that this movie is going to be awesome, but man, they sure gave it a crappy poster. What is this garbage?
