Okay, guys, I’m going to say something that might seem inflammatory: this movie does not look good. Sure, it has some solid designs, but man, I could barely get through the trailer, it’s so boring. What’s more, it just seems to be a retread of The Corpse Bride, which I also found to be lackluster and rather dull. I love me some Guillermo Del Toro, but nothing about this preview for Book of Life inspired me in the slightest. Furthermore, Channing Tatum is completely out of place in this cast, and it seems like he was thrown in just to get American audiences more interested. I might just skip this one. Sorry, Guillermo.
