Before They Were Stars: Michael Ironside on “The Littlest Hobo”

It seems if you were a well-known Canadian actor starting out in the late 1970s or early 1980s and your name just happened to be “Michael”, you had an obligation to guest star on an episode of The Littlest Hobo. This includes Mike Myers, Michael Wincott and now Michael Ironside. I vividly remember this particular episode where Vic Morrow plays a drunk who has a hit-and-run accident with a female postal worker, which compels the dog to hound him until he decides to fess up and turn himself in. Anyway, you can see Michael Ironside pop up early on in the episode as Morrow’s friend as he drunkenly plows through some trash cans.
