Before They Were Stars: 9-Year Old Anderson Cooper on “To Tell the Truth”

Yesterday, I showcased 12-year old Ally Sheedy making an appearance on the game show, To Tell the Truth, during the 1970s. Believe it or not, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper did the exact same thing when he was only nine years old. On this particular episode, the contestants had to guess which of the three kids on display was the world’s youngest bear trainer and Anderson played one of the two impostors. During one of his shows, Anderson’s co-workers decided to prank him live on the air by displaying a photo of him in his furry hat, along with footage from his To Tell the Truth appearance.
