Before They Were Stars: 12-Year Old Anna Kendrick is Nominated for a Tony Award

At the tender young age of 27, Anna Kendrick already has one Academy Award nomination under her belt, but she already made her first major impression at age 12 when she received a Tony Award nomination for “Best Featured Actress in a Musical” for her performance in the 1998 Broadway production of High Society. This made Anna the third-youngest performer ever to be nominated for a Tony Award.
