Before They Were Stars: B.D. Wong in “The Karate Kid Part II”

As you probably know, Jurassic World is making an absolute killing at the box office right now and it’s amazing to think that the only cast member from the original film who returned to reap the rewards in the sequel is B.D. Wong. However, Wong (back when he was credited as “Bradd Wong”) actually got his start in Hollywood by appearing in another very successful sequel, The Karate Kid Part II, a very small role where he plays the guy who invites Daniel and his girlfriend to the dance. I wondered why the person who posted this on Youtube decided to title this clip, “GAYEST SCENE EVER in the HISTORY of films”, but I have to admit that the way Wong looks at Daniel and says, “Ooh, bring your friend!” is actually pretty funny.
