In spite of a stupid title, an aging Arnold Schwarzenegger, a lack of Linda Hamilton, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese and a bunch of other stupid nonsense, I just can’t bring myself to get angry at Terminator Genisys. The franchise hasn’t been great in almost a quarter of a century. Why should I care? If I were to pick a reason to get annoyed with the new Terminator, though, out of the myriad of choices, it would probably be this scene. They’re trying to recreate a classic moment from the first Terminator, but without Bill Paxton and with a still-in-the-uncanny-valley CGI young Arnold. Yeesh.
