Here it is, folks. After over a decade of hype, of countless delays and misfires, and after just one teaser that looked super bro-y…we finally have a big, bad, proper look at the terribly titled Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This new trailer out of ComicCon has definitely piqued my interest in the movie more than anything else that we’ve seen so far. Affleck looks great as not only Batman, but as Bruce Wayne. I like the set up of Clark Kent being called upon to do investigative research into the Bat. I like the look of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, somewhat surprisingly. But man, this movie is going to have to be about five hours long to fit in all the extra Justice League business. I mean, Gal Gadot looks great as Wonder Woman, but do we actually need Wonder Woman in this movie on top of everything else? Hopefully Zack Snyder pulls off a perfect balancing act with this one, but knowing Snyder, there’s a high chance of this all being a giant mess.
