Before They Were Stars: Clint Eastwood Meets Mr. Ed

In 1962, Clint Eastwood was still a few years away from A Fistful of Dollars and not yet a huge movie star, but he was becoming a recognizable face from his role on the western TV series, Rawhide. In fact, Eastwood was recognizable enough to cameo as himself on an episode of Mr. Ed and the actual episode title was “Clint Eastwood Meets Mr. Ed”. So I guess this might not technically count as “Before They Were Stars” footage, but there’s no way in hell I’m going to resist the opportunity to post a clip of Mr. Ed pranking a young Clint Eastwood on the telephone!
