I think it’s kind of hilarious that the marketing campaign for Jason Bourne is all based around the tagline “You know his name.” You know his name…but just in case you don’t, it’s Jason Bourne. I’ve always thought the Bourne movies were decent enough. The first few were really solid action spy thrillers. The Jeremy Renner spinoff was mediocre, but entertaining at the very least. I just don’t know if there really ought to be more of these films. I thought the first three were a perfect little trilogy of the modern spy genre. Do we need to milk it any further? I suppose the answer is “As long as they might make money.”
