Red Hill: No Country For Old Men, Starring Jason Stackhouse

Behold the trailer for the Australian modern western Red Hill, starring Ryan Kwanten of True Blood fame. The film follows Kwanten’s character, a young upstart police officer, as he and his wife relocate to the small country town of Red Hill to start a family. Shortly after his arrival, however, there’s a prisoner break, and Jimmy Conway, a notorious murderer, escapes to Red Hill looking for blood. Personally, I think this movie looks awesome! It has a sort of No Country For Old Men vibe to it, and the Tarantino-esque title cards are a nice, stylish addition to the proceedings. It’s pretty jarring to see Jason Stackhouse as a cop, though, and one with an Australian accent, at that.
