The most important documentary of our time has been made, and it is The Trollhunter. Directed by Andre Ovredal, this “documentary” follows a group of filmmakers who are trying to uncover Norway’s mysterious dealings with trolls – giant beasts that the government keeps hidden away in game preserves behind electrified fences. While no trolls are actually featured in the trailer, a single screenshot from the film has been released and can be seen here.
I think this movie is going to rock. I mean, c’mon, it’s a documentary about a government conspiracy to keep trolls hidden from the public, and it looks like they’re playing it completely straight! The Trollhunter has officially been added to my must-watch list.
