Is Clown For Real?

TK sent me this trailer for a movie called Clown, about a man who puts on a clown costume for his son’s birthday party, and then finds that he can’t take it off! As if that wasn’t bad enough, it seems as though the costume itself is transforming the man into some kind of mutant clown! AAAAUGGGHHH! But the real cherry on this cake of weirdness is that the movie claims to be directed by Eli Roth (of Hostel and Cabin Fever). Roth has previously made a phony trailer for a non-existant movie called Thanksgiving, which he plans on making a feature-length film out of someday, and because of this a lot of people are calling foul on Clown, thinking it to be another Eli Roth fake-out. Me? Well, I’m not sure. It could easily go either way, although the quality of the video in this trailer tells me that if it is real, it’s probably going to go straight to DVD. I do hope it’s real, though, because this looks awesome.
