Jeremy Irons is a classically-trained British stage, television and film actor who isn’t afraid to take any role, no matter how wild or silly it may be. He started his career on the stage and won a Tony award for his work in the Broadway production of The Real Thing, then moved on into film, gaining acclaim for his performace as creepy twin gynocologists in David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers and winning an Oscar for his role in Reversal of Fortune. He’s also played some pretty goofy parts in movies like Eragon and Dungeons and Dragons, but makes up for it with movies like Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Colour of Magic, and, of course, The Lion King. Oh, and he has an awesome voice to imitate. Irons turns 63 today.
