Robin’s Second Article at Cracked.com (with bonus deleted entry)

I’m pleased to report that my second article at Cracked.com, “6 Movies That Predicted Disasters With Eerie Accuracy”, has officially been published at their website. I’m very happy with how this one turned out, and I hope that the article manages to both entertain and freak you out at the same time. Anyway, due to space reasons and what-not, most of the articles which are accepted by Cracked usually have an entry or two get cut by the editors before it’s published. As a bonus, I’m going to show you the entry that was cut from this article since it’s a pretty freaky story in its own right. Click below to hear about an eerie coincidence surrounding the final film of Sharon Tate…

As I’m sure many of you know, one of the most infamous murder scenes of all time took place on Auguest 9, 1969 when intruders broke into the Los Angeles home of actress Sharon Tate, who was eight-and-a-half months pregnant at the time. They wound up murdering Tate, her unborn baby, and four other people, and were later revealed to be cult followers of this guy, Charles Manson.

A couple of months before this, Sharon Tate had traveled to Italy to star in a movie called The Thirteen Chairs, a.k.a. 12+1. The film would not be released until several months after Tate s death and other than featuring her final performance, there was nothing particularly memorable about it at all.

Thankfully, however, the film was a pretty lightweight screwball comedy, so audiences could watch it without thinking about the horrible events that…

JESUS CHRIST, WHAT S HE DOING HERE?!

Now, having a Charles Manson lookalike pop up in Sharon Tate s final film is a strange enough coincidence, but here’s the real weird part. That guy in the photo is an Italian actor named Vittorio Gassman, who is clean shaven for 99.9 % of the movie and does not actually look like this until the very end, when his character discovers a formula that causes miraculous hair growth and instantly transforms him into a dirty hippie. The film concludes with a freeze frame of Mr. Manson’s doppelganger, and after the end credits finish rolling, “THE END” is actually superimposed over his image. Talk about a creepy form of foreshadowing! Anyway, here’s the last part of the film, so feel free to watch it for yourself…
