Before They Were Stars: Giancarlo Esposito on “Sesame Street”

When I was a kid, I vividly remember watching a series of episodes of Sesame Street where Big Bird went away to summer camp and befriended a counsellor named Mickey. Rewatching these episodes now, I am shocked to discover that Mickey was played by a young Giancarlo Esposito, whom you probably recognize for his role as Gus Fring on Breaking Bad. So, of course, now I can only assume that Big Bird actually had his own meth lab and was using Mickey to distribute the product.
