Before They Were Stars: Patrick Swayze in an A&W Root Beer Commercial

Patrick Swayze’s screen debut was playing the villain in the 1979 roller disco film, Skatetown U.S.A.. It seems like roller skates were an important part of Swayze’s early career since one of his next jobs was him skating around in the background of this A&W Root Beer commercial.
