You know I always love to do “Before They Were Stars” features that showcase early short films, music videos and commercials from famous directors. But here’s a special one: an old commercial which is not only directed by a famous filmmaker, but features a rare acting appearance from him as well. Yep, that’s none other than Guillermo Del Toro in this bizarre 1991 commercial from his native Mexico, playing a man who starts changing into a werewolf until he takes some Alka-Seltzer.
